Podiums in eerste seizoenshelft zeer verschillend

Het huidige Formule 1-seizoen is momenteel net over de helft. De eerste seizoenshelft zit er dan ook op en de zomerstop is inmiddels ingegaan. Er komen dan ook steeds meer opvallende statistieken over de eerste helft van het seizoen naar buiten, ook over de podiums van dit seizoen bestaat een opvallende statistiek.

In de eerste dertien races van het huidige seizoen stonden tien verschillende combinaties van drie coureurs op het podium. Allen de trio's Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc en Carlos Sainz, Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez en George Russell én Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton en George Russell stonden vaker dan eens op het podium. Lando Norris is daarnaast de enige coureur die het podium bereikte die niet voor Red Bull Racing, Ferrari of Mercedes rijdt.
