Sainz vol vertrouwen voor tweede seizoenshelft: "Let's go Ferrari!"

De zomerstop in de Formule 1 zit er bijna op, over een week staat de Belgische Grand Prix op het programma. De meeste coureurs keren dan ook terug van vakantie om weer vol in training te gaan. De ambities zijn hoog bij veel coureurs en dat laten ze dan ook weten op de sociale kanalen. Ook Carlos Sainz barst van de ambities.

Sainz heeft een zeer lastige eerste seizoenshelft achter de rug. De Spanjaard had zeer veel pech en viel in Imola en Australië uit vanwege een spin. Sainz kreeg eveneens te maken met betrouwbaarheidsproblemen wat hem in Oostenrijk bijvoorbeeld een podiumplaats kostte. De Spaanse coureur schreef wel de Britse Grand Prix op zijn naam en staat momenteel op de vijfde plaats in het wereldkampioenschap.

Op Twitter laat Sainz aan zijn volgers weten dat hij zich gaat voorbereiden op de tweede seizoenshelft. De Spaanse coureur barst van de ambities en dat maakt hij duidelijk: "Ik heb goed kunnen relaxen met familie en vrienden om de batterij weer op te laden. Nu gaan we deze dagen weer trainen ter voorbereiding op de tweede seizoenshelft. Let's go Ferrari!"

  Dat zal niet meer gebeuren. Tegen het team ingaan wordt niet gewaardeerd en dat is Sainz wel duidelijk gemaakt. Wat Leclerc doet, kritiek achter de schermen houden, is de Ferrari manier en uiteindelijk bereik je daar meer mee. Het is niet voor niks dat Leclerc het troetelkind is bij Ferrari. Hij werkt op hun manier.

  Klopt @Cherokee, en dat geldt voor elk team (en in het bedrijfsleven).
  Het is ook overdreven om te denken dat Carlos een 'rebel' bij Ferrari is, iedereen piest wel eens naast de pot en doorgaans is Sainz best wel correct in zijn persmomenten, etc.
