Red Bull vindt nieuwe kledingsponsor voor aankomend seizoen

Het team van Red Bull Racing is op en naast de baan bezig met een zeer sterk seizoen. Op het circuit is Max Verstappen hard op weg naar een tweede wereldtitel. Naast het circuit sluit Red Bull veel grote sponsorcontracten. Ook vandaag maakte ze weer een grote deal bekend.

Red Bull maakte vandaag bekend dat ze vanaf 2023 in zee gaan met Castore als kledingsponsor. Het Britse bedrijf zal de teamkleding verzorgen en zal eveneens voor dezelfde kwaliteit kleding gaan zorgen voor de fans. Het is de zoveelste grote vis die Red Bull dit jaar binnenhaalt. Begin dit jaar sloten ze bijvoorbeeld ook al een grote titelsponsordeal met Oracle. Met Castore halen ze weer een ambitieuze partner in huis.

Castore is overigens geen onbekende naam in de Formule 1.  Het Britse bedrijf werkt namelijk ook samen met het team van McLaren. Ook daar is men kledingsponsor en hebben ze met Daniel Ricciardo en Lando Norris twee sterke uithangborden in huis. Het kledingbedrijf maakt langzamerhand naam in de sportwereld en is naast in de Formule 1 ook actief in het tennis, cricket en voetbal. Volgend seizoen worden ze ook kledingsponsor van de Nederlandse voetbalclub Feyenoord.

      AT sponsort zichzelf genoeg. Welk merk sponsort 2 teams tegelijk? Het is voor RB als AT financieel gewoon handiger dat RB een eigen sponsor heeft.

      Uit financieel oogpunt helemaal gelijk. Uit marketing oogpunt vreemd gezien het AT 0 euro extra hoeft te kosten om hun logos op de pakken van RB te hebben staan. Gratis marketing. En marketing kan nogal duur zijn.

      Maar StevenQ slaat een goed punt aan waar ik zelf nog even niet over na dacht. AT is meer voor alledaagse kleding dan sport.

      Eehm ik neem toch aan dat Castore een flink bedrag mag neerleggen om te sponsoren. En dat het niet alleen gratis kleding betreft.

      Als je met je eigen kledingmerk sponsort levert je dat exposure op, maar geen harde knaken.

      Castore zal een aardig zakcentje bijdragen, buiten de kleding zelf. Bovendien is het pas echt raar wanneer een team met de naam van een ander team op de wagen rond rijd ;)

      Poedersuiker@ naja je hebt natuurlijk bestaande contracten die je eventueel moet naleven, maar zoals ik hierboven al aangaf... ik had even geen rekening gehouden met de alpha tauri geen sport kleding merk is natuurlijk dus je hebt helemaal gelijk. Ik zocht er iets te veel achter haha.

    Van Cranenbroek had ook kledingsponsor willen zijn bij Redbull, maar daar was de kledinglijn te duur, de marge was te klein zeg maar.
