Vettel rijdt Japanse GP met speciale helm voor helmleverancier

Sebastian Vettel rijdt dit weekend voor het laatst in zijn Formule 1-loopbaan de Japanse Grand Prix. De Duitse viervoudig wereldkampioen is zeer populair in het land en heeft zelf ook een band met Japan. Vettel rijdt namelijk al sinds jaar en dag met een helm van het Japanse Arai. In Suzuka rijdt hij dan ook met een opvallende helm.

Vettel rijdt dit weekend namelijk met een helm geïnspireerd op de doos waarin hij normaliter zijn helm vervoerd. De blauwwitte helm barst dan ook van de verwijzingen. De blauwe kleur is bijvoorbeeld afkomstig van de helm en ook de nodige stickers van de doos zijn terug te vinden op de helm. De Duitse vlag op de helm dient in dit geval als tape.
