AlphaTauri-duo voert strafpuntenlijst aan

In de Formule 1 werkt men al geruime tijd met een strafpuntensysteem. Als een coureur twaalf punten verzameld op zijn superlicentie levert hem dit automatisch een schorsing voor één Grand Prix op. Ook afgelopen weekend in Japan werden er weer strafpunten uitgedeeld en dat zet een aantal coureurs op scherp.

Pierre Gasly ontving afgelopen weekend twee strafpunten vanwege het incident onder de rode vlag. De Franse AlphaTauri-coureur reed ruim 250 kilometer per uur en ontving daarvoor twee strafpunten. Hierdoor komt zijn totaal op negen strafpunten, hij moet dus op zijn tellen passen. Op 22 mei 2023 verlopen zijn eerste strafpunten pas. Ook zijn huidige teamgenoot Yuki Tsunoda moet opletten, de Japanner staat op acht strafpunten.

Na het AlphaTauri-duo volgt Alexander Albon, de Thaise Williams-coureur staat op zes strafpunten. Max Verstappen en Esteban Ocon volgen met vijf strafpunten. Daniel Ricciardo, Fernando Alonso en Guanyu Zhou staan op vier strafpunten. Drie coureurs staan op drie strafpunten: Nicholas Latifi, Kevin Magnussen en Lance Stroll. Sergio Perez, George Russell en Sebastian Vettel staan op twee strafpunten. Valtteri Bottas, Lando Norris en Charles Leclerc hebben slechts één strafpuntje. Lewis Hamilton, Carlos Sainz en Mick Schumacher zijn de braafste jongens van de klas en hebben nog geen enkel strafpunt.

Las net dat Gasly 15 milj per jaar gaat verdienen bij Alpine.
Dat lijkt me wel heel erg veel.

  Enige dat ik gehoord heb is dat SAT 10 miljoen heeft ontvangen. Alpine heeft uiteindelijk flink de buidel getrokken. Ze hebben ook de juridische kosten van McLaren moeten betalen aangezien ze die zaak verloren. Geen idee ho dat kwam. Maar het is een behoorlijk debakel geworden voor ze. In plaats van de goedkope Piatri hebben ze nu Gasly.
  Mij lijkt 15 miljoen voor Gasly erg hoog. Zeg niet dat het onwaar is. Ik vind het hem niet waard. Hopelijk laat Gasly mooie dingen zien en maakt hij zijn salaris waar.
