Komend weekend staat één van Nederlands grootste autosportevenementen op het programma. Zeker het meest prestigieuze evenement. De Masters of Formula 3. De beste rijders van Formule 3-klassen over de hele wereld strijden in Zandvoort om de felbegeerde titel. Verder komen de IndyCar-coureur alweer in actie op het nieuwe Hampshire circuit.

Zandvoort, Nederland
De Masters of Formula 3 winnen staat erg mooi op het cv van een coureur. Zo waren de laatste jaren onder andere Nico Hülkenberg, Lewis Hamilton, Paul di Resta en Takuma Sato de sterksten. Valtteri Bottas zorgde vorig jaar voor een unicum, door voor het eerst in de 20-jarige historie van het evenement de race tweemaal op rij te winnen. Dit jaar zal Nigel Melker proberen de Nederlandse eer hoog te houden. Morgen een volledige voorbeschouwing op de 21e editie van de Masters of Formula 3.

IndyCar Series
New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Amerika
[LEFT_IMG=15269][/LEFT_IMG]Voor het eerst sinds 1998 zal de IndyCar Series weer gaan racen op de oval in Loudon. De New Hampshire Motor Speedway zal garant staan voor spektakel, gezien de vorige races op de permanente circuits. Kan Will Power bijvoorbeeld zijn eerste oval-zege van eerder dit jaar een vervolg geven? Hij zal wel goed moeten scoren om kampioenschapsleider Dario Franchitti niet uit het oog te verliezen. Scott Dixon is altijd sterk op ovals en kan wel eens de lachende derde worden.
