Russell ontvangt opvallend bezoek op Mercedes-hoofdkantoor

George Russell rijdt sinds dit seizoen voor het team van Mercedes. De Britse coureur is bezig met een zeer sterk seizoen en hij presteert zeer constant. In bijna alle races eindigde hij in de top vijf en in Hongarije greep hij zelfs zijn eerste pole position. Hij kreeg dan ook de kans om bijzonder bezoek te ontvangen.

Russell deelde in aanloop naar de Amerikaanse Grand Prix namelijk een opvallend bericht op zijn sociale kanalen. Russell mocht deze week namelijk zijn ouders ontvangen op het hoofdkantoor van Mercedes. De ouders van Russell gingen op de foto met de bekers die Russell binnen sleepte in Silverstone en Monza. Tevens bedankte Russell zijn ouders voor hun grote steun.

En voordat we weer de verhalen krijgen´hij verslaat Lewis wel regelmatig´ dat lijkt mij logisch. Hamilton komt bijna zijn nest niet meer uit zonder een wagen die echt mee kan doen, deze jongen heeft nog alles te bewijzen.

      Russel is snel en opportunistisch. Of hij even constant en onder lastige omstandigheden even snel schakelt als Max moet nog blijken. Maar als hij ook dat goed beheerst is hij inderdaad WDC materiaal. Want de Britten gaan 100% op zoek naar een opvolger voor Hamilton. Dus die gaan hem massaal steunen. Dan hangt het succes van Russel met name af van de kwaliteit van de auto waar Max in rijdt

      Ik denk dat rus zwaar onderschat wordt. Ik schaar hem in het rijtje max, lec en nor onder de jonge garde. Zet hem in die rbr of fer en hij strijdt om het wk

      Als alleen Mercedes en al hun klanten teams bij de Fia blijven. Ik zie Rb, Ferrari en consorten wel eens uit de Fia stappen.

      Ik weet het niet hoor, misschien in een jaar ala Button met een hulpje en echt dominant materiaal. dan misschien, maar ik mis gewoon wat bij hem. ik zie hem ook zelden gedurfde acties maken. hij is mij te ´lief´ op de baan. hij maakt weinig foutjes maar misschien zou hij die vaker moeten maken om alvast te wennen aan de limit. geen kampioen dan maar de grenzen opzoeken denk ik altijd, hij speelt mij te veel op veilig.

    De man van "de overtreffende trap". Altijd "over" dramatiseren on track als hij de ander bijna raakt. Een Lewisje aan het worden. Het valt mij steeds weer op als hij over de boardradio weer zijn opmerkingen maakt. Very dangerous driving, He almost hit me, I could have been in the barriers ... Het is nimmer zijn fout! Hij kan sturen maar is niet van het kaliber Max, Ham, Schumi. Zal altijd letterlijk & figuurlijk een jankerd blijven en steeds "net niet" kampioen worden en daarna voor de camera huilen. Hij mist de WOW-factor imo.
