Carlos Sainz eindigde afgelopen weekend als vijfde na een redelijk teleurstellende race. De Spanjaard mocht zich vanzelfsprekend niet melden onder het podium en moest doorrijden naar de pitlane. Nu blijkt dat niet alles goed ging bij de Ferrari-coureur, zo blijkt uit zijn onboardbeelden.\

Op de onboards is namelijk te zien dat Sainz niet zelfstandig uit zijn Ferrari kan komen. Met behulp van zijn monteurs klimt hij uiteindelijk uit zijn wagen maar het is overduidelijk dat er iets niet aan de haak was. De headrest van Sainz zat namelijk muurvast waardoor de monteurs met enige moeite moesten bijstaan in het proces van uitstappen.
