Braziliaanse helm Schumacher wordt geveild voor het goede doel

Mick Schumacher is dit weekend in Brazilië één van de coureurs die met een speciale helm rijdt. De Duitse Haas-coureur kiest dit wekend niet voor een helm in Braziliaanse stijl, hij neemt een trip down memory lane met zijn helm. De helm is namelijk gebaseerd op het helmontwerp uit zijn kartjaren.

De helm van Schumacher is dit weekend knalblauw en is gebaseerd op zijn helm waarmee hij in 2005 kartte. Schumacher rijdt alleen in Brazilië met de blauwe helm, hij gaat namelijk zijn helm veilen na afloop van het Grand Prix-weekend. Schumachers helmdesigner Jens Munser maakt op Twitter bekend dat de opbrengst van de helm volledig gaat naar de Spendenmarathon van het Duitse RTL. Hier haalt men geld op voor kinderprojecten.
