Video: Williams geeft Latifi opvallend afscheidscadeau

Ook Nicholas Latifi nam gisteren afscheid van de Formule 1. De Canadese coureur kreeg geen nieuw contract bij het team van Williams en aangezien er vrij weinig interesse is voor de Canadees lijkt zijn loopbaan in de Formule 1 erop te zitten. Williams nam op gepaste wijze afscheid van Latifi.

Na afloop van de Grand Prix van Abu Dhabi kreeg Latifi dan ook een opvallend cadeautje van Williams-teambaas Jost Capito. De teambaas gaf Latifi een gedeelte van de wagen waarmee Latifi in 2021 in Hongarije zijn eerste punten pakte. Het gedeelte van de FW43B stond vol met gelukswensen en de Canadees was zichtbaar onder de indruk.
