Codemasters lanceert volgend jaar gratis online Formule 1-game

Game-ontwikkelaar Codemasters is bezig met de ontwikkeling van een gratis online Formule 1-spel, dat in het eerste kwartaal van 2012 uit moet komen. F1 Online: The Game stelt spelers in staat om zowel de coureur als de teambaas uit te hangen. Het combineert de aspecten van rijden en managen.

Fans kunnen met bestaande teams aan de slag, of een heel nieuwe renstal opzetten. David Solari, vice-president van Codemasters Online: Formule 1 is een bewezen game merk dat gamers over de hele wereld aanspreekt en het is een fel begeerde sportlicentie. Aangezien de globale game-markt evolueert is 2012 het perfecte moment om de serie uit te breiden met een free-to-play versie.

Voortbordurend op het commerciële succes van en lovende kritieken op onze vorige Formule 1-game stelt dit ons in staat om onze passie voor Formule 1 en kennis van racen op een geheel nieuw publiek over te brengen.
