Latifi dankt Albon: "Blij dat ik hem een vriend mag noemen"

Nicholas Latifi kende dit jaar een zeer lastig seizoen. De Canadese coureur reed een lastig jaar en zijn team Williams gaf hem dan ook geen nieuw contract voor volgend jaar, men vervangt hem door Logan Sargeant. Latifi nam afscheid van de Formule 1 met een speciaal dankwoord voor Alexander Albon.

Albon en Latifi waren dit seizoen elkaars teamgenoten bij het team van Williams. Na afloop van de seizoensfinale in Abu Dhabi wisselde de twee coureurs van helm en dankte Latifi de Thaise coureur op Twitter: "Hij is één van de meest oprechte personen in de paddock, hij is een fucking snelle coureur. Hij is echt iemand waarvan ik blij ben dat ik hem een vriend mag noemen."
