Chadwick vertrekt naar Amerika en gaat in Indy NXT rijden

Jamie Chadwick was in de afgelopen jaren uiterst dominant in de W Series. De Britse won alle drie de edities van het kampioenschap voor vrouwen en stak haar Formule 1-ambitie niet onder stoelen of banken. Voor 2023 heeft ze haar zinnen echter gezet op een Amerikaans avontuur.

Chadwick rijdt in 2023 namelijk voor het team van Andretti in de Indy NXT, de voormalige Indy Lights. Chadwick won in de afgelopen jaren elf races in de W Series maar kon nooit een stapje zetten naar een andere opstapklasse. Wel werd ze onderdeel van de opleidingsploeg van Williams en kon ze op die manier toch nog proeven aan de koningsklasse van de autosport.
