Hebben Red Bull en cryptosponsor Tezos hun partnerschap verbroken?

Het heeft er alle schijn van dat opnieuw een cryptosponsor de Formule 1-wereld zal verlaten. Volgens de scherpe ogen van het bekende Twitteraccount Decalspotters is de naam van Tezos niet meer te vinden op de lijst van partners van het Red Bull F1-team.

In 2021 begonnen het Formule 1-team van Red Bull en Tezos een samenwerking. Sindsdien was de Tezos bestickering te zien op de Red Bull-wagens. Naar alle waarschijnlijkheid hebben de twee partijen inderdaad hun partnership verbroken, want hetzelfde @Decalspotters Twitteraccount merkte op dat de bestickering van Tezos bij de recente showrun van Red Bull ook niet meer op de auto te zien was.

De potentiële verbreking van de samenwerking tussen de twee partijen is sprekend voor de financiële moeilijkheden waarin vele cryptobedrijven momenteel in verkeren. Tezos is volgens eigen zeggen een blockchain dat energie-efficiënt is, waardoor het de grote markt van de NFT’s heeft aangetrokken. Nu de algehele financiële sector inclusief de cryptowereld in waarde krimpt, is de mening van experts dat NFT’s behoren tot de eerste dominostenen zijn die kunnen gaan vallen.

Red Bull heeft nog wel medecrypto-exchange ByBit op de lijst van partners staan.

Blockchain @tezos has been removed from the list of @redbullracing partners.

Tezos branding was also absent during a recent showrun.

Red Bull signed a multi-year partnership with Tezos at the start of 2021, becoming their Official Blockchain Partner.
