Drugovich maakt Race of Champions-debuut in Zweden

Volgende maand wordt in het Zweedse Pite Havsbad de jaarlijkse Race of Champions verreden. Net als dit jaar vindt het prestigieuze evenement plaats op sneeuw en ijs. Veel grote namen trekken naar Zweden en de organisatie heeft gedeeld dat ook Aston Martin-reserve en Formule 2-kampioen Felipe Drugovich zijn opwachting zal gaan maken.

Drugovich maakt zijn debuut bij de Race of Champions, de Braziliaan zal tevens voor het eerst in zijn loopbaan gaan racen op sneeuw en ijs. Tegelijkertijd met Drugovich werden ook de namen van voormalig Formule 1-coureur David Coulthard, Le Mans-legende Tom Kristensen, WRC-coureur Thierry Neuville en Indycar-coureur Felix Rosenqvist toegevoegd aan de deelnemerslijst.

Eerder werd al duidelijk dat ook de nodige bekende namen uit de Formule 1 gaan deelnemen aan het populaire evenement dat plaatsvindt op 28 en 29 januari. Naast Drugovich en Coulthard doen namelijk ook tweevoudig wereldkampioen Mika Häkkinen en huidig Alfa Romeo-coureur Valtteri Bottas mee. Ook kersvers pensionado Sebastian Vettel zal zijn opwachting gaan maken in Zweden.

  Kennelijk , of bang voor Blessures misschien (zie Wehrlein die de eerste 2 races mistte na een koprol in de RoC ) , best jammer wel coureurs lijken er veel plezier aan tr hebben , beetje competitie gevoel zonder druk :)
