Mercedes dankt fans voor trouwe support in open brief

Het team van Mercedes heeft een zwaar seizoen achter de rug. De Duitse renstal begon 2022 als de regerend constructeurskampioen en sloot het jaar af met één zege en de derde plaats bij de constructeurs. De fans van Mercedes bleven het team steunen. Mercedes deelt nu een dankwoord.

De Duitse renstal doet er alles aan om hun fans zo goed mogelijke te bedanken voor hun steun. Op sociale media deelt men een open brief. Mercedes dankt hen voor de steun in goede en slechte tijden: "Dit jaar was jullie steun belangrijker dan ooit. Jullie herinnerde ons eraan dat we moeten blijven pushen tot we terug zijn aan de top. Terwijl het harde werk op de fabriek door goed, geeft dit moment van het jaar ons de kans om te reflecteren op de afgelopen twaalf maanden."

      Klopt, aan de andere kant heb ik het Ferrari en RedBull nog nooit zien doen en die zaten al meer in een slappe P3 situatie.als topteam - dus ja een mooi gebaar naar hun fans toe

Die jongen leer er compleet alleen voor te staan en als hij op het podium stond dan was het zoeken naar Mercedes mensen die stonden te klappen. Het was door zijn constante sterke optreden dat men gaandeweg het seizoen waardering en steun aan George begon te geven maar zeker in die eerste helft van het seizoen leek hij vaker tegengewerkt te worden (met het idee om Lewis te bevoordelen) dan dat ze hem steunden. Ze hadden wat dat betreft beter een open brief aan Russell kunnen schrijven.

      Inderdaad, zoals in Melbourne, behalve dan dat groepje Mercedesmonteurs van 5 rijen dik dat stond te klappen en te juichen bij zijn eerste podium... Jij kan zoveel onzin in één post zetten, dat het gewoon triest wordt.

    Het is gewoon zonder enige twijfel en op alle vlakken een topteam, met wereldwijd een hele grote schare trouwe en goed geïnformeerde fans.
