Aan het einde van een seizoen nemen veel teams afscheid van gerespecteerde werknemers. Niet alleen coureurs en teambazen wisselen van werkgever, ook gerespecteerde werknemers doen dat. Mercedes-coureur George Russell gaf een gerespecteerd teamlid een opvallend afscheidscadeau doormiddel van een snel rondje in Abu Dhabi.
