F1-coureurs trekken lootjes voor Kerstmis

Het F1-circus is officieel tot een halt gekomen. Na de afsluitende Grand Prix van 2022, die in Abu Dhabi verreden werd, kreeg het gehele Formule 1-veld de opdracht om een lootje uit de hoge (kerst) hoed te trekken. De actie die door de persafdeling van de Formule 1 werd georganiseerd, betekende een mooie kans voor de coureurs om iets speciaals voor hun gekozen collega te kopen.

De twintig snelste coureurs ter wereld kregen de gelegenheid om een speciaal cadeau uit te zoeken voor degenen die zij uit de hoge hoed haalden. Het idee om de F1-coureurs uit te nodigen om een kerstpresentje voor hun collega’s uit te zoeken zorgde voor heel wat speciale beelden. Voorbeelden van de gegeven kerstcadeaus zijn onder andere een deurstopper voor Kevin Magnussen (in referentie naar Guenther Steiners kantoordeur), een in Zwitserland geplante Esdoorn in naam van Sebastian Vettel en een Minion wielrenpak voor Valtteri Bottas.
