Mercedes deelt geheimzinnige beelden van nieuwe wagen

Het team van Mercedes trekt op 15 februari het doek van hun nieuwe wagen. Hoe de nieuwe W14 er precies uitgaat zien, is nog niet bekend. Mercedes is voorlopig nog bezig met de voorbereidingen op het aankomende seizoen en men deelt dat ook op de sociale media. Men heeft nu de eerste beelden van de nieuwe W14 gedeeld.

Mercedes deelde gisteren namelijk een drietal foto's van monteurs die bezig zijn met de nieuwe wagen. Op de drie foto's zijn kleine delen van de nieuwe W14 te zien. Onder andere de halo, de cockpit en de zijkant van de wagen zijn te zien op de foto's. Uit de foto's valt nog niet op te maken of Mercedes verder gaat met het zeropod-concept of dat er weer met normale sidepods wordt gereden.

Als je nog beter kijkt, zie je dat het "The goat" weer niet gaat lukken om met deze auto zijn 8e te pakken.

    Al duizenden keren eerder gedaan en wordt nog duizenden keren opnieuw gedaan. Is inmiddels te vergelijken met een advertentie in het huis-aan-huis blad...

    De nieuwe auto zie je pas als de eerste GP van start gaat, dat is bij de andere teams niet anders.

    Maar goed, ze moeten uiteraard nieuws blijven geven.

      Als je goed oplet kan je er wel wat dingen uit opmaken. Zo dragen 3 van de 4 mekaniekers een zonnebril ter hoogte van de motor. Dat duidt op het gebruik van een innovatief hitteschild op basis van een nanocoating 🙃

      Ik denk dat die gasten zonnebrillen dragen door de weerkaatsing van het licht op de nieuwe zonnepanelen die ze overal op het bodywork hebben aangebracht voor extra boost power. Ik denk echter dat tijdens het weekend in Spa ze deze panelen achterwege zullen laten ;-)

      Bijna goed maar bij lange na niet helemaal...

      Waren gewoon foto's om bij Mercedes intern vier nieuwe medewerkers voor te stellen, totdat de media-afdeling het idee kreeg om er 'iets' meer van te maken.

      Dat jullie dat niet meteen doorhadden...

      Weer de zero sidepods in de 2.0 versie, maw helemaal onzichtbaar, oftewel luchtkoeling concept.
      De goat gaat 8e titel nu met 2 vingers in de neus binnen harken en voor de vorm in abu dabi in gevecht met fer.
