McLaren eert overleden grootaandeelhouder Mansour Ojjeh met buste

Het team van McLaren moest in 2021 afscheid nemen van de geliefde aandeelhouder Mansour Ojjeh. Het overlijden van de Fransman zorgde voor veel verdriet maar McLaren bleef Ojjeh eren. De Britse renstal heeft als eerbetoon nu een speciaal standbeeld onthuld in Woking.

De Britse renstal heeft een bronzen buste laten maken en gisteren werd deze onthuld in McLarens hoofdkwartier in Woking. De buste van de Fransman werd onthuld in het bijzijn van onder andere McLaren CEO Zak Brown. Mansour was jarenlang betrokken bij het team. Vlak na zijn overlijden reed McLaren met zijn naam on de zijkant van de wagens van Lando Norris en Daniel Ricciardo.
