McLaren start nieuwe wagen voor de eerste keer

Alle Formule 1-teams zijn momenteel hard bezig met de voorbereidingen op het aanstaande seizoen. Veel teams hebben al enkele belangrijke stappen genomen in het proces van de opbouw van de nieuwe auto. Het team van McLaren deelt op sociale media trots de beelden van een belangrijke stap in het ontwikkelingsproces.

De Britse renstal laat namelijk weten dat ze de Mercedes-krachtbron in de nieuwe wagen voor het eerst hebben opgestart. In een korte video is te zien dat de kopstukken van het team zich in Woking hebben verzameld voor het moment. Onder andere kersvers teambaas Andrea Stella, CEO Zak Brown en Oscar Piastri zijn aanwezig bij het moment. Lando Norris is niet zichtbaar in de korte video.
