Haas voert begin februari shakedown uit met nieuwe VF-23

Het team van Haas toonde gisteren als eerste renstal de nieuwe wagen voor het aankomende seizoen. De Amerikaanse renstal trok het doek van de nieuwe livery voor de VF-23. De echte wagen is dus nog even een geheim, maar dat gaat niet lang meer duren. Er komt namelijk een shakedown aan.

Het team van Haas had gisteren de primeur van de eerste nieuwe Formule 1-wagen van 2023. Haas toonde de nieuwe kleuren, de invloeden van nieuwe hoofdsponsor MoneyGram waren direct zichtbaar. De VF-23 wordt de wagen waarmee Kevin Magnussen en Nico Hülkenberg op jacht gaan naar nieuwe successen in het aanstaande seizoen.

Op 23 februari gaat het nieuwe seizoen officieus van start met de pre-season tests op het circuit van Bahrein. Het team van Haas zal voor die tijd echter al de baan op gaan. De Amerikaanse renstal kondigde gisteren namelijk niet alleen de nieuwe livery aan, maar ook een shakedown. Op zaterdag 11 februari zal Haas afreizen naar het circuit van Silverstone. Het worden de eerste meters van de nieuwe VF-23. Het is nog niet bekend of Magnussen of Hülkenberg plaatsneemt achter het stuur.
