Le Mans: Peugeot en Raikkonen tevreden over gezamenlijke test

Kimi Raikkonen heeft veel plezier beleefd aan zijn test met de Peugeot 908, de LMP1-auto van het Franse merk voor de 24 uur van Le Mans. De Fin legde 35 rondjes af op Motorland Aragon en verklaarde na afloop aan Turun Sanomat dat deelname aan de 24 uur van Le Mans geweldig zou zijn. Ik heb genoten van deze test met de Peugeot. De 908 is een hele leuke auto om te besturen.

Peugeot houdt zich op de vlakte over een eventuele samenwerking met de wereldkampioen Formule 1 van 2007. Teammanager Pascal Dimitri: Kimi paste zich snel aan de auto aan en gaf ons waardevolle technische feedback. Het is altijd interessant om input van coureurs van het kaliber van Kimi te ontvangen. Sportief directeur Olivier Quesnel voegt toe: Deze testsessie stond al lange tijd gepland als voorbereiding op de rest van het seizoen en we hebben van de gelegenheid gebruik gemaakt om Kimi kennis te laten maken met de 908. De huidige stand van zaken is echter dat er verder niets gepland staat met Kimi.
