FIA geeft details van DRS-zone voor Belgische Grand Prix prijs

De internationale autosportbond FIA rust het circuit van Spa-Francorchamps voor zondag uit met één zone voor het Drag Reduction System. De beweegbare achtervleugel is in de race alleen te activeren op het rechte stuk bovenaan Eau Rouge, genaamd Kemmel.

Het meetpunt om te bepalen of een coureur gebruik mag maken van zijn DRS ligt 235 meter voor bocht 2 (Eau Rouge). De DRS-zone begint 270 meter na bocht 4 (Raidillon). Het bewegen van de achtervleugel is gedurende het hele weekend verboden in Eau Rouge.
