Piastri lanceert nieuwe merchandise in aanloop naar Formule 1-debuut

Naast mederookies Nyck de Vries en Logan Sargeant staat ook Australiër Oscar Piastri te popelen op het groenlichtsignaal van zijn eerste Grand Prix. Terwijl zijn team van McLaren druk bezig is om de livery lancering van de MCL60-bolide gereed te maken, heeft Piastri een partij nieuwe merchandise gelanceerd.

Oscar Piastri zal dit seizoen zijn Formule 1-debuut voor het team van McLaren gaan maken. Naast teamgenoot Lando Norris heeft de Formule 2-kampioen van 2021 een stevige organisatie achter zich staan, dat als doelstelling voor 2023 heeft om concurrent Alpine van de vierde plaats af te stoten.

Piastri heeft een aantal verschillende designs en artikelen in zijn online webshop geplaatst, waarbij zijn fans de kans krijgen om hem te steunen zonder er een flinke zak met geld voor neer te hoeven leggen. In plaats van de exorbitante prijzen van bijvoorbeeld Ferrari (108 euro voor een T-shirt), kunnen Piastri’s fans al voor 22 euro een shirt scoren. Het gaat dan hier wel om een shirt van Piastri’s persoonlijke kledinglijn, in vergelijking met een officieel Ferrari-shirt.

Voor de maand februari gooit de Australiër er een mooie eventuele bonus bij: elke aankoop binnen de maand waarin de Formule 1 druk aan het voorbereiden is, maakt automatisch kans om een mini-replica van Piastri’s racehelm te winnen.
