Formule 1-teams komen aan in Bahrein voor wintertestdagen 2023

Nu de voorbereidingen op het Formule 1-seizoen van 2023 volop onderweg zijn, beginnen alle vrachtladingen langzaamaan op het Bahrein International Circuit binnen te stromen. Later deze week (donderdag 23 februari t/m zaterdag 25 februari) worden in Bahrein namelijk de wintertestdagen van de Formule 1 gehouden, terwijl een week later op hetzelfde circuit de eerste Grand Prix van het seizoen verreden zal worden.

Ook dit jaar zal de wintertest met veel nieuwsgierige ogen gevolgd worden. Welk team heeft een troef achter de hand? En wie zullen er tijdens de drie belangrijke testdagen opvallen? Inmiddels hebben alle Formule 1-teams al een shakedown achter de rug, met als uitzondering het team van McLaren. Het blijft vooralsnog de vraag of de papajakleurige renstal kortstondig haar MCL60-bolide zal uitproberen, alvorens het groenlichtsignaal van de wintertest zal vallen.

Vooral op social media is het duidelijk dat het bij de Formule 1-fans al begint te kriebelen. Ook de officiële Twitterprofiel van het Bahrein International Circuit deelt mee in het enthousiasme vooraf aan de start van de wintertestdagen.

De wintertestdagen lopen van 23 tot en met 25 februari van 8:00 uur tot 17:30 Nederlandse tijd, en zijn via F1 TV Pro en Viaplay live te volgen.

Op mijn leeftijd iets laten kriebelen is al 'n prestatie op zich.......maar ze hebben gelijk, het begint te kriebelen nu.

Ahhh zo fijn het begint bijna weer. Komkommertijd gaat langzaam voorbij zijn. Weer verslavend naar alle trainingen en races kijken, al die verschillende podcasts luisteren en Nyck de Vries kampioen 2024 :P. Blijf het wel nog steeds moeilijk te accepteren vinden dat we niet meer starten in Australie. Maar dat mag de pret niet drukken.
