McLaren mag gebruik maken van Aston Martin-reservecoureurs

Over ruim anderhalve week gaat in Bahrein het nieuwe Formule 1-seizoen van start. Voor de teams is het dan belangrijk om alle voorbereidingen achter de rug te hebben. Ook het team van McLaren wil alle zaakjes in orde hebben en daarvoor zijn ze wederom een deal aangegaan met een concurrerende renstal.

McLaren maakte namelijk bekend dat ze in de eerste vijftien Grands Prix van het aankomende seizoen de beschikking zullen hebben over de reservecoureurs van Aston Martin. Dat betekent dus dat Stoffel Vandoorne en Felipe Drugovich dit seizoen ook in actie kunnen komen voor McLaren. De Britse renstal heeft dit jaar ook de beschikking over de diensten van Mercedes-reservecoureur Mick Schumacher.
