Hamilton verricht simulatorwerk in aanloop naar wintertest

Aankomende donderdag barst het Formule 1-geweld weer los met de wintertest in Bahrein. Iedereen wil zo goed mogelijk voorbereid zijn op de testdagen en de Grand Prix van Bahrein van de week daarop. Ook bij Mercedes wil men het seizoen beginnen met een kickstart, Lewis Hamilton doet daar alles aan.

Hamilton staat niet bepaald bekend als de grootste fan van de simulatoren. De Britse zevenvoudig wereldkampioen was deze liever kwijt dat rijk. Sinds zijn kampioensstrijd met Max Verstappen in 2021 deelt hij steeds meer beelden van zijn werk in de simulator op de Mercedes-fabriek. Ook in aanloop naar de testweek nam hij weer plaats in de sim en deelde hij en zijn team dat op de sociale kanalen.

@Jos, ik weet niet of dit met geloof in de auto te maken heeft. Het lijkt eerder dat hij na 2 jaar de titel niet gewonnen te hebben, beseft dat hij voor die 8e echt alles uit de kast moet trekken. Om de concurrentie in een goede auto te verslaan is ieder detail belangrijk.
