Organisatie Britse Grand Prix breidt capaciteit uit door grote vraag naar tickets

De populariteit van de Formule 1 is in de afgelopen jaren flink toegenomen. Deze gegroeide aandacht is op veel manieren merkbaar, ook op de circuits zelf plukt men er de vruchten van. Tijdens de Britse Grand Prix van later dit jaar zal het goed merkbaar zijn, men heeft namelijk actie ondernomen.

Het circuit van Silverstone maakte namelijk bekend dat men heeft besloten om de capaciteit van een aantal tribunes te gaan uitbreiden. Deze uitbreiding geldt voor de aanstaande Grand Prix en volgens het circuit zelf komt deze keuze door de grote vraag naar tickets. Fans krijgen de kans om zich alvast in te schrijven waarna er later meer duidelijkheid komt.
