Räikkönen gaat wederom NASCAR-race rijden

Kimi Räikkönen nam in 2021 afscheid van de Formule 1. De Finse enkelvoudig wereldkampioen zwaaide af en verscheen daarna eventjes van de radar van de racewereld. Vorig jaar keerde Räikkönen terug in de racerij en reed hij een NASCAR-race, dat avontuur krijgt nu een vervolg.

De Trackhouse Entertainment Group heeft namelijk bekend gemaakt dat Räikkönen later deze maand weer gaat deelnemen aan een race in de NASCAR Cup Series. Op 26 maart verschijnt de Finse coureur aan de start van de race op het Circuit of the Americas. Räikkönen zal gaan rijden voor het team van Project 91. De Fin reed vorig jaar voor hetzelfde project ook al een NASCAR-race op Watkins Glen. Räikkönen zal gaan racen in een Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

ieder zijn ding, en iedere klasse heeft zijn zo zijn specifieke dingen. Ik zie ze liever niet duwen en trekken wat ze in nascar doen, en lijkt me met een F1 wagen ook niet echt fijn. Nee, voor mij hoeven ze in F1 helemaal geen voorbeeld aan Nascar te nemen, daarom kijk ik f1 en geen nascar :-). W... [Lees verder]
