Ook Button naar NASCAR, twee F1-wereldkampioenen bij race op COTA

Eerder deze week werd bekend dat Kimi Räikkönen later deze maand gaat deelnemen aan een NASCAR-race op het Circuit of the Americas. De Finse enkelvoudig wereldkampioen zal op COTA gezelschap krijgen van een andere Formule 1-wereldkampioen in de persoon van Jenson Button.

Vandaag werd bekend dat de Britse enkelvoudig wereldkampioen op COTA in actie zal gaan komen voor het team van Rick Ware Racing, voor Button wordt het zijn eerste optreden in de NASCAR. Het blijft daar niet bij want Button gaat voor het team ook racen in Chicago en op de road course van Indianapolis. Button gaat daarnaast ook met het experimentele NASCAR-projext rijden tijdens de 24 uur van Le Mans.
