Red Bull sluit deal met schoenenpartner

Het team van Red Bull Racing begon vorige week op ijzersterke wijze aan het nieuwe Formule 1-seizoen. De Oostenrijkse renstal won de race in Bahrein met Max Verstappen en Sergio Perez kwam als tweede over de finishlijn. Red Bull heeft daarnaast ook een nieuwe sponsordeal ondertekend.

Red Bull heeft namelijk een heuse schoenenpartner aangetrokken. De Oostenrijkse renstal maakte bekend dat ze een meerderjarig contract hebben getekend met APL.  Athletic Propulsions Labs zal de medewerkers van Red Bull gaan voorzien van nieuwe schoenen. De medewerkers van Red Bull, zowel de coureurs als de rest van het personeel, droegen de nieuwe schoenen al tijdens de Grand Prix van Bahrein.

Klinkt als marketing.... Ja je kunt zeker wel schoenen ontwerpen die prestatie verhogend zijn. Maar dat kan alleen als je ze individueel op maat maakt voor een sporter. Dan heb je 1 of 1. Ik weet dat in London de oudste schoenen maker nog bestaat. Die maken schoenen aan de hand van je individuele... [Lees verder]

      Chinese rotzooi?!
      Het zijn zeer comfortabele schoenen die prestatie verhogend zijn. Staan ze om bekend. Dat mag iets kosten. Ze worden in Los Angeles ontworpen en getest en in China geproduceerd, net als bv Nike, die worden in China, Vietnam, Turkije, Indonesië en Thailand geproduceerd.

Daarvoor moet je naar hun winkel komen, maken ze en houten mal van je voet, en daaromheen creëren ze jou perfecte schoen. Kost een paar duizend pond...

      400 euro voor een paar schoenen? Is pure marketing. Te goedkoop om perfect voor iemand te zijn, te duur voor wat je koopt...

      Per 500 paar uit een fabriek is gewoon simpel China.

    Beetje hetzelfde als Skechers,maar dan 10 keer zo duur.
    Schoenen van €555 waar werkelijk nog geen lapje leer op zit is gewoon te zot voor woorden.
    Al kreeg ik ze gratis ging er nog niet mee lopen.

    Gelukkig ben ik een simpele man, M`n Nikes air max classic en Timberlands worden iig niet vervangen door deze ''schoenen''..

    Dit merk doet me denken aan een oud klasgenootje... die kwam altijd op school met de duurste merkkleding, maar vraag me niet hoe ze er uitzag want een vuilniszak had nog beter gestaan.
