'Audi gaat bij Autoshow Shanghai meer details over F1-project prijsgeven'

Naar verluidt gaat de Duitse autofabrikant Audi volgende maand meer details over haar toekomstig Formule 1-project delen. Bij de Shanghai Automobielshow, die tussen 18 en 27 april plaatsvindt, zal Audi haar project gaan presenteren. Het is vooralsnog onduidelijk welke details er precies prijsgegeven zullen worden, al zal er in ieder geval een showauto met de lanceer-livery aanwezig zijn, zo meldt het bericht.

In aanloop naar de nieuwe Formule 1-motorregelementen van 2026 is Audi druk achter de schermen bezig om haar intrede binnen de koningsklasse te prepareren. Volgens berichten is de automobielfabrikant bij haar vestiging in het Duitse Neuburg nu al druk bezig om toekomstig Formule 1-succes te garanderen.

Volgens autosportplatform PlanetF1 zal Audi volgende maand een volgende stap zetten. In het bericht wordt gemeld dat Audi haar Formule 1-project volgende maand bij de Shanghai Autoshow aan de wereld zal gaan presenteren, aldus de Duitse autofabrikant.

"Het is voor ons zeer belangrijk om dit (bij Shanghai Auto 2023) te doen, omdat China voor zowel de Formule 1 als Audi een belangrijke markt is. Omdat er de afgelopen jaren geen Chinese Grand Prix was, willen we dan ons project gaan presenteren. Ook zullen we dan onze showauto met de lanceerkleuren tentoonstellen", luidt het bericht van Audi.

De Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition zal tussen 18 en 27 april in het National Convention en Exhibition Center gaan plaatsvinden.

  in ieder geval willen ze in 2026 een eigen motor gebouwd hebben. Porsche intentie met Red Bull was erger. namelijk de auto in Porsche kleuren spuiten, een Porsche sticker op de RBPT Honda motor plakken en er ook eigen leiderschap neer zetten
