Miami belooft water in veelbesproken jachthaven

Volgende maand staat de Grand Prix van Miami voor de tweede keer op de kalender van de Formule 1. De race was vorig jaar een bijzonder event waarbij er rondom het circuit veel opvallende locaties waren gebouwd. De meeste aandacht ging uit naar een neppe haven zonder water, voor dit jaar belooft men verandering.

De neppe haven zorgde vorig jaar voor de nodige verbazing. Naast de baan lachen namelijk een paar jachtschepen op een blauw geschilderd stukje asfalt. Het was overduidelijk een knipoog naar de haven in Monaco, maar het ontbreken van water zorgde voor veel lachbuien. Foto's en video's van de neppe haven gingen al snel viral.

Aankomende maand staat de Grand Prix van Miami weer op het programma en het belooft wederom een groot spektakel te worden. De organisatie heeft een paar veranderingen aan de haven doorgevoerd. In een ronkend bericht beloven ze dat er dit jaar water naar de haven komt. Of men hiermee bedoelt dat er extra zwembaden komen of dat de jachtschepen dit keer echt in het water liggen, is nog niet bekend. Iedereen die gebruik wil maken van de zogenaamde Sunset Cabana moet diep in de buidel tasten, een plekje voor vijftien man kost namelijk 67000 dollar.

Hmmm, ik vraag me af of ze daar wel 'n vergunning voor krijgen met al die strenge stikstof regels in de States.....oh, wacht......die kennen ze daar helemaal niet hahaha.

Of ze bedoelen gewoon dat het dan gaat regenen ;-)

  Denk dat ze een laagje van een halve mm ronde de boten gieten. Anders moeten ze er ook echte boten neerleggen.

Jachtschepen?? zijn dat schepen waarmee gejaagd wordt? Die Amerikanen hebben ook overal een oplossing voor hé. Zwemmende herten of zwijnen, geen probleem, we bouwen een jachtschip! Nou, en die lachen dus in Miami.

Wat een verspilling als ze daar echt een "haven" van gaan maken. Het idee van een haven op een plek waar geen water is, alleen maar "om het ook te hebben" is al idioot, maar in deze tijd die nog voor een event van een paar dagen te vullen is echt een teken dat je ver van de realiteit staat.

Kunnen ze niet met die pontons die ze in het leger gebruiken een circuit bouwen voor de kust, de kans dat iemand buiten de track-limits gaat rijden om tijd te winnen zal klein.
