Las Vegas bereikt nieuw hoogtepunt bij bouw paddockgebouw

Later dit jaar keert de Grand Prix van Las Vegas terug op de Formule 1-kalender. Het belooft een enorm spektakelstuk te worden aangezien het circuit dwars door het centrum van de gokstad leidt. Momenteel is men hard bezig met de werkzaamheden voor onder meer het paddockgebouw.

De organisatie van de Formule 1 heeft een grote lap grond gekocht in Las Vegas. Op deze plek bouwt men een gebouw voor de paddock en het pitcomplex. Deze werkzaamheden zijn al eventjes aan de gang en men heeft nu een nieuwe mijlpaal bereikt op dit gebied. De organisatie van de Grand Prix deelt beelden van een feestje ter eren van het bereiken van het hoogste punt van het paddockgebouw.

    Ik laat deze aan de ouwe over hoor, deze is gemaakt voor hem. verder vind ik dit soort banen nicks. ´vroegah´ was het alleen monaco, tegenwoordig heb je er een stuk of 4 midden in een stad.

    Dacht dat ze gewoon de ontvangsthal/receptie-balie van Ceasar's Palace zouden gebruiken.

      Yep. Ze kunnen beter een tunnel door de berg van Laguna Seca aanleggen zodat die baan wat langer is en grade1 geschikt, dan aan dit soort bende geld te verspillen...

      Las Vegas is voor mensen die nooit echt naar Parijs, Venetië of Gizeh zijn geweest, een soort Madurodam met wat grotere replica's. Als je niet van gokken houd heb je er weinig te zoeken, de natuur in de omgeving is mooier dan die kitsch stad.

      @tyla: het grappige is juist dat dit marketingtechnisch waarschijnlijk een prima investering is, juist om mensen naar de stad te lokken die dan wel hun geld gaan verspillen. Maar misschien hebben die mensen er ook nog wel weer zoveel plezier van, dat het voor hen ook geen weggegooid geld was. Kortom, lekker laten gaan, geld is het probleem niet. We gaan zien of het een aanwinst voor de F1 is. Stel dat het iets van Monaco kan krijgen en dan een baan waarop wel geracet kan worden?

    Wat eerder een gewoomte was in de bouw , wanneer de spouwmuur boven het vloerpeil was moesten er bierdopjes in , en wanneer de dakspanten rechtop stonden (hoogste punt) werdt er een grote tak aan gespijkerd en kwam de eigenaar/opdrachtgever met takkenbier .
