Formule 1-fans 'niet blij' met klein aanbod tickets Las Vegas GP

De organisatoren van de nieuwe Las Vegas Grand Prix zijn nu al druk bezig om de toekomstige Formule 1-races in de gokhoofdstad van de wereld voor de fans te verbeteren. Het team gaat onder andere kijken naar de mogelijkheden wat betreft het verhogen van het aantal toegangskaarten; het onderdeel waar de Formule 1-fans over de race van dit jaar niet tevreden over zijn.

De Grand Prix van Las Vegas staat in november van dit jaar op de planning, maar de voorbereidingen ervan zijn inmiddels allang aan de gang. Momenteel is de organisatie het oppervlak aan het herasfalteren, terwijl de bouw van het officiële hoofdkwartier van de Formule 1 iets verderop ook flinke progressie maakt.

Dat de race – ondanks de torenhoge prijzen van toegangskaarten – populair onder de fans lijkt te zijn, is duidelijk. De algemene tickets voor het raceweekend zijn als warme broodjes over de toonbank gegaan, wat resulteert in enige ontevredenheid onder de fans. Volgens Las Vegas Grand Prix CEO Renee Wilm is het eerste verbeterpunt het verhogen van het aantal toegangskaarten: "De fans zijn niet blij dat we niet meer tickets hebben kunnen aanbieden."

"Dat is een punt waar we de komende jaren aan gaan werken. Het enige wat we nu kunnen doen is hard blijven werken en uitkijken naar een spectaculaire race", doelt Wilm op de race in november. "We willen de beste ervaring voor onze fans creëren, terwijl we tegelijkertijd een goed circuit voor de coureurs maken. Ons doel is het ontwerpen van het beste evenement in deze sport – maar ik twijfel er niet over dat we niet alles in het eerste jaar volledig goed zullen doen. We gaan de feedback naar volgend jaar meenemen en dan zullen we er alles aan doen om de tweede editie te verbeteren."

Tja, als er geen aantallen genoemd worden kan ik ook niet besluiten of t waar is of niet... :P

Overigens, het is net als Monaco, moeten het niet groter maken dan t is en doen alsof de F1 altijd al jaren spotgoedkoop is.

Toplocatie staat inherent aan topprijzen.

Is dat dan teveel of zijn er te weinig? Zandvoort was direct weg dus daar zijn juist te weinig kaarten !
