Alpine ontvangt Three Star Environmental Accreditation van de FIA

Het is duidelijk dat men in de Formule 1 werkt aan een duurzamere toekomst. De sport heeft de ambitie om in 2030 klimaatneutraal te functioneren en ook de teams willen graag hun steentje bijdragen. Het team van Alpine heeft nu een belangrijke mijlpaal bereikt in dit proces.

De Franse renstal heeft namelijk de Three Star Environmental Accreditation van de FIA ontvangen. Dit geldt voor zowel het onderkomen in het Franse Viry als voor het onderkomen in het Britse Enstone. In een persbericht laat het team weten dat een speciale afvaardiging van autosportfederatie FIA in december onderzoek heeft gedaan en dat ze hebben voldaan aan de eisen. Het team werkt onder meer met herbruikbare energie en heeft het gebruik van plastic flesjes op veel plekken uitgeband.
