Miami voegt water toe aan veelbesproken jachthaven

Aankomend weekend staat de tweede editie van de Grand Prix van Miami op het programma. De organisatie van de race doet er alles aan om het circuit te voorzien van een luxueuze omgeving. Vorig jaar ontstond er veel hilariteit omtrent een neppe jachthaven, men deelt nu de eerste beelden van de geüpdatete haven.

De jachthaven was vorig jaar het middelpunt van spot. De grote jachtschepen lagen namelijk niet op het water, maar op een blauwe ondergrond. De organisatie leek wel te kunnen lachen om de grappen en deelt dan ook vol trots beelden van de update van de haven. Zoals eerder al werd aangekondigd, is er water toegevoegd aan de haven. Het water ligt echter niet in de haven zelf, maar in een zwembad naast de boten.

      En toch moet je altijd wel op je hoede zijn als het water betreft, getuige het volgende gezegde:

      "Trouwen is zoiets als jezelf in de rivier gooien, terwijl je alleen maar een slokje WATER wilde...." ;-)

    De suggestie volstaat in de USA nu eenmaal wat sneller dan bij ons.

      Dat is een voldongen feit.
      In de branche waarin ik werkzaam ben heb ik veel met Amerikanen en hun producten te maken.
      Vol trots staat er me grote letters op elke doos "made in USA" en daarmee lopen ze ook te pronken op hun socialmedia waarin iedere Amerikaanse consument zo trots als een pauw in meegaat en dit op hun beurt ook weer overal verkondigd, tot en met stickers op hun eigen materiaal waarop "made in the USA" staat.
      Maar... de werkelijkheid is dat de fabrikant hun producten gewoon in Azië (China en/of Korea) laat voor produceren en waarna de laatste hand (het samenvoegen van twee delen) uiteindelijk in Amerika gebeurd waardoor ze het predikaat "made in America" mogen voeren.
      Gewoon goedkope Chinese rommel zoals de rest van de wereld ze ook inkoopt, maar dan met de suggestie dat het van- voor- en door en voor Amerikanen is gemaakt.

    en inmiddels heeft men in Miami moeite om de tickets verkocht te krijgen om dat na een jaar met astronomische prijzen de meeste bezoekers van vorig jaar niet meer terug komen. men heeft echt last van korte termijn denken, zo snel mogelijk de centen binnen harken en het bomt niet dat er dan geen hond meer komt door de prijzen, want het geld is binnen

    Héél apart, bij de Indycars voelen ze niet de behoefte tot dit soort aanstelleritus.
