Nieuwe geïnteresseerde renstal meldt zich bij de FIA

Het aanmeldingsproces van de FIA voor mogelijke nieuwe Formule 1-teams is vooralsnog een aardig succes. Er heeft zich namelijk wederom een nieuwe geïnteresseerde partij gemeld bij de autosportfederatie. Het gaat in dit geval om een project uit Azië en de plannen van dit mogelijke team zijn zeer ambitieus.

De FIA opende eerder dit jaar het proces voor mogelijke nieuwe renstallen. De samenwerking tussen Amerikaanse grootmachten Andretti en Cadillac meldde zich vrijwel direct aan. In navolging van Andretti Cadillac toonden meerdere partijen interesse in de koningsklasse van de autosport. Of deze andere partijen zich daadwerkelijk hebben aangemeld bij de FIA bleef in de meeste gevallen nogal vaag.

Panthera

Nu heeft zich weer een nieuwe partij gemeld. Het gaat hier om een Aziatisch project onder leiding van CEO Benjamin Durand. Durand was eerder betrokken bij het Panthera Team Asia-project, maar wil nu de Formule 1 betreden met een nieuw team genaamd LKY SUNZ. Dit project gaat een Expression of Interest indienen bij de FIA en verwacht dat ze de deadline van 15 mei gaan halen.

Azië

LKY SUNZ wil de focus gaan leggen op de jongerencultuur en op entertainment. Het team wil daarnaast samenwerkingen aangaan met grote steden in Noord-Amerika, Afrika en Azië. LKY SUNZ laat daarnaast weten dat ze in eerste instantie vanuit Europa willen opereren, maar dat ze daarna een nieuwe fabriek willen openen in Azië. Dit nieuwe onderkomen moet volledig op groene energie gaan draaien waardoor ze in 2030 klimaatneutraal kunnen functioneren.

Ik blijf het vreemd vinden, bedrijven die het ontzettend belangrijk vinden om "klimaatneutraal" te zijn, in een sport waarbij men continu de wereld over vliegt.

Ik blijf het vreemd vinden, bedrijven die het ontzettend belangrijk vinden om "klimaatneutraal" te zijn, in een sport waarbij men continu de wereld over vliegt.

  bepaalde coreurs? ja, maar ook bepaalde mensen buiten het racen om, ik geef er eerlijk gezegd ook geen h#l om, of we nu over 100 jaar vergaan of over 40 miljoen jaar, het zal mij aan mijn r@@t roesten. niet leuk voor de kindertjes van nu, maar die heb ik toch niet.

  Grotendeels eens. Ik vind het te ver gezocht dat wij in deze generatie alle problemen maar moeten "oplossen" lees: overal flink voor betalen. Maar dat betekent niet dat we geen rekening hoeven houden met.het milieu.

  En ondertussen worden overal gigantische projecten opgezet voor Grondstoffen delving (lees Roof), dat brengt zoveel vervuiling mee, en gebruikt zoveel Energie dat het rekensommetje voor al die Klimaatwappies zo weergegeven wordt dat het goed is voor het milieu.
  Ondertussen steeds meer branden door Zonnepanelen en Electrische Auto's.
  Er is nog steeds geen regeling of oplossing van al die accu's van de Elektrische Auto's wat nu al een groeiende berg is.
  Daarnaast al die windmolens die een kortere levensduur hebben als wordt voorgeschoteld, steeds meer ongelukken, lawaai overlast, alles bij elkaar een veel groter probleem dan een Kerncentrale.
  Alles voor de buhne, uitkleden van de burger, alles onbetaalbaar, vooral Politici, maar wel vooraan staan bij de zgn evenementen die vervuilend zijn.

Wel zoveel mogelijk extra races op kunstmatige circuits en dubieuze landen voor het geld, maar geen extra teams omdat het de belangen van de huidige teams schaadt.

  Valt toch wel mee? Volgens mij doen ze echt geen enkele moeite om te verbloemen dat ze deel van F1 zijn geworden om zoveel mogelijk centen te melken. De rest is van ondergeschikt belang. De hebzucht regeert, net zoals in de rest van de maatschappij.
