Aston Martin kijkt vooruit: "Zo snel mogelijk beginnen aan de auto voor 2024"

Het team van Aston Martin is momenteel bezig met een zeer sterk seizoen in de Formule 1. De Britse renstal staat momenteel tweede achter Red Bull Racing in het constructeurskampioenschap. Bij Aston Martin zitten ze niet stil en Dan Fallows laat weten dat ze zo snel mogelijk willen beginnen met de auto voor 2024.

Tot verrassing van velen presteert het team van Aston Martin dit jaar zeer sterk in de koningsklasse van de autosport. Fernando Alonso eindigde dit jaar al vier keer als derde en het team was regelmatig veel sneller dan de concurrenten van Ferrari en Mercedes. Die twee renstallen zijn dan ook de grootste uitdagers van Aston Martin en de Britse renstal kijkt daar dan ook naar.

Er wordt ook al vooruit gekeken. Volgend jaar wil Aston Martin immers blijven meestrijden om de podiumplaatsen. De Britse renstal neemt deze zaakjes zeer serieus en technisch directeur Dan Fallows legt de situatie uit bij Auto Hebdo: "We willen zeker zo snel mogelijk beginnen met de auto voor volgend jaar. We willen daarvoor niet de auto van dit jaar gaan opofferen. De auto van volgend jaar wordt immers een doorontwikkeling van de auto van dit seizoen. Alle data en updates van dit jaar kunnen zeker helpen. We willen daar zo snel mogelijk mee beginnen."
