Nieuwe dramaserie over de Formule 1 opkomst

De populariteit van de Formule 1 is in de afgelopen jaren flink toegenomen. Ook vanuit Hollywood is er volop interesse in de koningsklasse van de autosport. Brad Pitt is bezig met een veelbesproken ambitieus filmproject en nu is er ook een nieuwe dramaserie aangekondigd met Felicity Jones in de hoofdrol.

Bedrock Entertainment is bezig met het ontwikkelen van een nieuwe dramaserie over de Formule 1. De serie draagt de naam 'One' en gaat over een fictief Formule 1-team van een familie en het drama dat komt kijken bij het runnen van deze renstallen. De serie zal fictie met de werkelijkheid gaan mixen en de Formule 1 is dan ook betrokken bij het project.

Actrice Felicity Jones zal de hoofdrol gaan spelen in de serie. Waar de serie te zien zal zijn en wanneer de opnames zijn, is nog onduidelijk. De hoofdrolspeelster is in gesprek met Deadline in ieder geval positief: "Het is een eer om deel uit te mogen maken van deze unieke samenwerking met de Formule 1. De hoge inzet van de wereld van deze sport zorgt voor drama waardoor je het puntje van je stoel gaat zitten. Het is ontzettend gaaf dat we daar een serie over mogen gaan maken."

      Het gemiddelde niveau van de oranjesupporters die de tribunes de afgelopen jaren hebben gekoloniseerd is in ieder geval om te huilen. ;-)

      Ik zou idd ook niet weten waarom anders een vrouw* de hoofdrol zou moeten hebben.

      *Ik heb niks tegen vrouwen maar die zijn nou eenmaal dun gezaaid in topfuncties in de F1 vandaar dat het mij verbaast dat de hoofdrol een vrouw is.

    Kortom, graag heel snel heel veel meer van dit gekunstelde drama, dan hebben 'wij' straks de echte Formule 1 (op echte circuits en zonder vermaledijde sprintraces) weer terug. Bring it on!

      Ik houd ook niet van die series of films waarvan de echte raceliefhebbers vanuit achterin de zaal met hun ogen half dicht al kunnen zien dat het nep is.
