Mercedes verrast ernstig ziek jongetje met Formule 1-wagen

Het team van Mercedes heeft deze week een goede daad verricht. De Duitse renstal stuurde namelijk een Formule 1-wagen richting Wales om daar een ernstig ziek jongetje te verrassen. De wagen was onderdeel van een grotere parade die voor het kind werd georganiseerd.

Mercedes stuurde de auto en een helm van George Russell naar Swansea in Wales. Hier werd een speciaal evenement met meerdere supercars georganiseerd voor de ernstig zieke Morgan Ridler. Het driejarige jongetje heeft een zeldzame vorm van kanker en zijn ouders doen er alles aan om hem een mooie tijd te bezorgen. Mercedes werkte hier aan mee door een auto naar Wales te sturen.

    Ik ben zeer zeker geen fan van Mercedes maar van dit soort berichten krijg ik toch altijd weer kippenvel.
    Ongeacht welk team het doet... prachtig gebaar en het maakt zo'n ventje en z'n familie blij voor een dag.

    Dat jongetje had zich er erg op verheugd om naar het circuit te kunnen en toen dat niet door kon gaan heeft Mercedes het verdriet/leed op deze manier een stuk verzacht.
    Een hele mooie actie van Mercedes!
