McLaren verslaat Red Bull bij Oostenrijkse pitstops

De Oostenrijkse Grand Prix was afgelopen weekend een chaotisch spektakelstuk. Er werden veel inhaalacties uitgevoerd en veel coureurs kozen ook voor een tweestopper. De pitstops speelden een grote rol in de race en het team van Red Bull Racing was ditmaal niet de snelste in de pitstraat.

Het team van McLaren verrichtte de snelste pitstop op de Red Bull Ring. De Britse renstal verwisselde de banden van Lando Norris in 2,10 seconden. AlphaTauri werd tweede in het klassement en stuurde Nyck de Vries weer op pad binnen 2,28 seconden. De top drie werd compleet gemaakt door Red Bull Racing, Max Verstappen kreeg binnen 2,32 seconden nieuwe banden. De teams van Ferrari en Williams maakten de top vijf compleet.
