Ook Aston Martin past livery aan voor Britse Grand Prix

Ook het team van Aston Martin past de livery aan voor de Britse Grand Prix van aankomend weekend. De Britse renstal heeft niet gekozen voor een bijzonder thema, maar past de kleurstelling aan voor één van de sponsors. Aston Martin rijdt in Silverstone namelijk met een speciale Valvoline-kleurstelling.

Aston Martin maakte vandaag bekend dat ze in zee gaan met de nieuwe sponsor Valvoline. De twee hebben een contract voor een langdurige samenwerking gesloten. Voor de Britse Grand Prix van aankomend weekend wordt de livery van het team aangepast. De kleuren en logo's van de nieuwe sponsor zijn te zien op onder meer de voorvleugel, de motorkap en de racepakken van Lance Stroll en Fernando Alonso.

    Ik zag dus even niet waar de aanpassing zat, maar de stickers en het de vin op de motorkap

    Als de geplaatste foto een weergave is vd daadwerkelijke livery voor Silverstone, dan rijden ze gewoon nog steeds in het Aston Martin 'racing green' zoals altijd, maar zitten er slechts 'n paar Valvolinestickers op met t bijbehorende roodblauw. Maar het is simpelweg geen Valvolinelivery! Want dan hadden ze een roodblauwe bolide.
    Rest nog de vraag hoe zullen de Valvoline stickers er dan op de auto uitzien in de race hierna? Want dit is -zo zegt men- eenmalig. Staan ze dan maar voor 1 race op de wagen? Of staat er na Silverstone er nog steeds op, maar dan zonder de roodblauwe accenten? Zoveel vragen... :-)

      Kromme laatste zin, ik lees het nu ook, maar ik ben compleet vd leg geraakt door dit mysterie. ;-)

      Het is vanaf nu officieel hun leverancier voor vloeistoffen. Ik kan me niet voorstellen dat ze mid-season overstappen van Petronas, dus waarschijnlijk gebruiken ze nu gewoon die vloeistoffen met een Valvoline-sticker, maar de komende jaren, inclusief iig een deel van de komende Honda-periode, werken ze met Valvoline.
