Australische Grand Prix vindt nieuwe CEO

De Australische Grand Prix heeft weer een nieuwe kopman gevonden. De organisatie van de populaire race die nu nog wordt verreden op het circuit van Albert Park in Melbourne moest op zoek naar een nieuwe CEO na het vertrek van Andrew Westacott. Die zoektocht is nu voltooid.

Westacott was een enorm uitgesproken figuur die regelmatig de publiciteit opzocht. Hij belandde dat ook meerdere malen in het nieuws met zijn uitspraken. Vorige maand stopte hij echter als CEO van de Australian Grand Prix Corporation, vandaag maakte de organisatie bekend dat Travis Auld is aangesteld als nieuwe CEO. Auld zal zich in de komende jaren gaan inzetten voor de Grand Prix.
