Alfa Romeo gaat bij Grand Prix België speciale livery gebruiken

Aankomend weekend zal het Formule 1-team van Alfa Romeo met een bijzondere livery op de proppen komen. Voor de Grand Prix op circuit Spa-Francorchamps zal de bekende zwart-rode livery een aantal kleine veranderingen doorgevoerd krijgen.

De zwart-rode kleurencombinatie kon bij de seizoenstart op veel positieve geluiden te rekenen, maar of de fans bij de aankomende race op Spa-Francorchamps ook over de livery te spreken zijn, blijft nog de vraag.

Aankomend weekend reist het F1-circus namelijk af naar België, en om haar samenwerking met streamplatform Kick te vieren, zal Alfa Romeo met een aangepaste versie van haar standaard kleurenschema op de grid verschijnen. De bekende zwart-rode kleuren blijven weliswaar aanwezig, maar partner Kick zal de neon-groene verfpot op de auto toepassen om wat meer op te vallen.

Zo krijgen onder andere de voor- en achtervleuge en de wieldoppen de neon-groene verf toegepast, en zal de naam Kick ook met diezelfde opvallende kleur op de formuleauto pronken.

Iemand enig idee waar die absurd goede kwalificatie performance van Alfa vandaan kwam? Hadden ze een specifieke update? Past de layout van de Hungaroring goed bij de Alfa? Ik vond het toch wel opvallend. Op zondag was het overigens weer kommer en kwel.

  Het is ook niet geheel toevallig dat de Ferrari aangedreven teams op zaterdagen beter uit de verf komen. Om dan op zondag weer te vervallen in het puntenloze niets.
  
  Ik begreep alvast dat Alfa in Silverstone wel wat upgrades bracht en deze het voorbije weekend wel een gewenst effect brachten. Maar ik verwacht niet dat ze in Spa eenzelfde Quali -prestatie gaan kunnen vertonen...

  De Chinese coureur tast nog in het duister waar zijn moeilijke start door veroorzaakt werd.
  "Ik moet het nog onderzoeken. Voor de start had ik het juiste toerental en toen er vier startlichten aan gingen verloor ik ineens alle respons van het gaspedaal. Ik startte als het ware zonder gaspedaal. Ik ben erg teleurgesteld, bij de start had ik het idee dat het heel goed kon gaan.
  
  We hadden dit nog niet eerder gehad. We moeten goed onderzoeken wat er was. Ik kon niet echt starten, ik moest direct aan de kant sturen. Daarom zag je mijn auto in eerste instantie nauwelijks bewegen."
