Alpine niet haastig op zoek naar nieuwe teambaas

Bruno Famin, de tijdelijke vervanger Otmar Szafnauer als teambaas van Alpine, zegt dat de Franse formatie geen haast heeft met het zoeken naar een teambaas.

Tijdens zijn toespraak op de F1 Nation-podcast vertelde Famin wat er komende tijd gaat gebeuren voordat er wordt gezocht naar nieuwe baas aan de pitmuur.

"Taak nummer één is om met het personeel te praten, met alle mensen van het personeel, om te delen wat er aan de hand is, om uit te leggen wat er aan de hand is en om ervoor te zorgen dat iedereen aan boord is", zei hij. “We hebben alle energie nodig, we hebben iedereen aan boord nodig.''

“Natuurlijk is het voor alle jongens een beetje moeilijk om alle informatie te krijgen. Ik ga naar Enstone om deze informatie, de uitleg, om vragen te beantwoorden, te delen met al het personeel in Enstone.”

Famin benadrukt dat de besluitvorming zorgvuldig wordt uitgevoerd. "Er is geen tijdlijn, omdat ik denk dat we echt moeten beoordelen wat de situatie is", zegt de Fransman.

Daarnaast vertelde Famin wat zijn taak zal zijn de komende tijd voordat er een nieuwe teambaas arriveert en onthulde enkele namen van zijn staf waarmee hij gaat werken.

''We zullen niet stilzitten om dingen te veranderen, omdat we stap voor stap moeten verbeteren van de ene race naar de andere.''

“Wat ik wil introduceren is constante verbetering in het team. Matt Harman doet het heel goed. Ik vertrouw Matt volledig, hij leidt het volledige technische team, dus er is geen haast om iemand aan de technische kant te vervangen.''

''Op sportief vlak vertrouw ik ook volledig op Julian Rouse. Ik vind dat hij hele goede ideeën heeft. Ik ga het met het personeel delen, daarom kan ik er nu hier geen commentaar op geven.''

“Wat de functie van teambaas betreft, voorlopig ga ik het doen, ik zal erover nadenken en ik zal beslissen. Maar we hebben geen haast, we redden het wel.''

Ik zou ook geen haast maken. Alsof een F1 team midden in het seizoen, waar men al druk bezig gaat met volgend jaar, een teambaas nodig heeft.
Totale onzin die functie.
Binotto heeft al laten zien dat je dat soort functies zelf kan combineren met andere leidinggevende posities. Werkt perfect joh... [Lees verder]

Ik zou ook geen haast maken. Alsof een F1 team midden in het seizoen, waar men al druk bezig gaat met volgend jaar, een teambaas nodig heeft.
Totale onzin die functie.
Binotto heeft al laten zien dat je dat soort functies zelf kan combineren met andere leidinggevende posities. Werkt perfect joh. Komt helemaal goed.

  Is toch niks mis mee: op dit moment hebben ze een tijdelijke teambaas. Prima toch? En ondertussen verder zoeken en wellicht Binotto aantrekken.

Ze hebben me alleen deze ochtend al 14x gebeld om de leiding daar te nemen.
Ik word er gek van! Laat me met rust! GEEN INTERESSE!
Jaren een Renault gehad en ik ben blij dat ik nu met een Japanner (geen Honda) rijd.
Daarnaast heb ik vele werknemers gehad die alles met de Franse slag deden en het heeft me veel moeite gekost om daar vanaf te komen.
Ik heb het nummer dus geblokkeerd.
Geen Alpine bazen functie voor mij dus.

Wat is het probleem? Ze staan toch elke race op de grid? Waarom haast maken met het zoeken naar een teambaas? Laten we nou niet doen alsof Renault F1 meer ambitie heeft dan aanwezig zijn.

  Op de motor na natuurlijk, Renault F1 moet natuurlijk wél in de F1 blijven. Dat is de enige reden waarom Lotus overgenomen was, zodat ze niet uit de F1 geschopt konden worden omdat niemand die krengen meer wilde hebben.
