Formule 1 sluit deal met bijzonder bouwwerk Las Vegas

In november staat de veelbesproken Grand Prix van Las Vegas op het programma. Het circuit leidt dwars door het centrum van de gokstad en dat betekent dat de bekende casino's vol in beeld zullen komen. Ze zijn dan ook betrokken bij de organisatie van de Grand Prix en dat zorgt voor een aantal opvallende deals.

Meerdere gebouwen, casino's en bedrijven hebben namelijk een overeenkomst getekend met de Formule 1 en de Grand Prix. Ook het futuristische bouwwerk The Sphere heeft nu een deal gesloten met de Formule 1. Het gebouw aan The Strip geldt als een officiële partner van de Grand Prix. Op het ronde gebouw vol met LED's zal tijdens de Grand Prix iets worden geprojecteerd, het is nog niet duidelijk wat er te zien zal zijn.

    FIA wil de hotels langs het parcours bij vooraf rekeningen presenteren, omdat er hotelgasten vanuit hun kamers de race zomaar kunnen volgen...
    ze komen dus in een stad een race organiseren, en gaan dan de bewoners terplekke een rekening presenteren, equivalent aan een toegangskaartje.

    Deze deal met 'the sphere' zal wel bedoelt zijn om de werkelijke achtergronden te verdoezelen.

      De ultra moderne theather/bioscoop is dan ook precies wat het nodig had om weer wat interesse te wekken van mensen die er ooit al eens zijn geweest.

      @tyla, ik mis iets denk ik. Hoezo de vergelijking met Tokyo? Voor mijn gevoel is elke stad interessanter als vegas

      @RJH Wat kraam jij een onzin uit.

      Formule 1 heeft juist de hotels moeten compenseren omdat ze minder goed bereikbaar zijn gedurende een periode van 5 dagen rond het weekend en ook voor de geleden schade die zich nu al in de opbouwfase zich voordoet. De hele strip is opnieuw geasfalteerd en daarin heeft Liberty ook flink moeten bijdragen.
      Daarnaast slaan de hotels er een mooi slaatje uit door arrangementen te verkopen die van enkele tienduizenden dollars tot ettelijke miljoenen over de toonbank gaan.

      Afgesproken is dat de hotels wel een afdracht doen van een x percentage van de arrangementen. Maar dat is enkel omdat het als officiële Formule 1 arrangementen verkocht mag worden, met beeldmerk en al.

      BenettonB187@ Het vergelijk had elke stad kunnen zijn inderdaad hoor haha. Ik noemde tokyo omdat het bekend staat als een zeer levendige stad met eigenlijk veel meer licht en schitteringen dan Vegas en een plek waar echt van alles te doen is.

    Hoop dat de ronde Sphere onder het geweld van de F1 van zijn plek rolt en de casino's als kegels in het gootje laat belanden, en wel dusdanig dat de F1 nooit meer het 'Sodom en Gomorra' van de Yankees zal aandoen...
