Di Resta en Sutil tonen geduld voor keuzes Force India voor 2012

Paul di Resta en Adrian Sutil verlangen niet op korte termijn duidelijkheid over hun toekomst bij Force India. Di Resta laat aan Press Association weten dat hij er vrede mee heeft dat het team pas in december de knoop doorhakt en is bereid daarop te wachten.

Sutil gaf Autosport ongeveer dezelfde verklaring. Er zijn weinig andere mogelijkheden. Ik ben in elk geval niet bij Williams op bezoek geweest. Ik weet niet waar dat verhaal vandaan komt, maar ik heb geen enkel contact met dat team gehad. Ik ken Force India goed, ik weet wat ik hier heb en ik heb geen plannen om te vertrekken. Het team wil wachten tot december en pas dan zullen ze bekend maken wie volgend jaar de racestoeltjes bemannen. Ik concentreer me op mijn eigen functioneren en dan zien we vanzelf wel. Ik moet snel zijn en punten pakken, en hopelijk vindt het team het genoeg voor een nieuw contract. Ik weet wel dat als ik doe wat ik in me heb, dat ik dan een van de zitjes voor me op zal eisen.
