Ferrari maakt eerbetoon aan Le Mans-winnende hypercar met speciale kleuren voor Italiaanse GP

Ferrari-coureurs Charles Leclerc en Carlos Sainz zullen bij de aankomende Italiaanse Grand Prix in een outfit met een bijzondere kleurencombinatie gehuld zijn. Met de rood-zwart en gele kleuren op het raceuniform gaat Ferrari bij de Grand Prix op Monza een speciaal eerbetoon doen aan haar Le Mans-winnende hypercar, dat eerder dit jaar de legendarische langeafstandsrace won.

Eerder deze maand wist het bekende Twitteraccount @Decalspotters al het nieuws te melden dat nu officieel door Ferrari bekend is gemaakt. Zo zullen niet alleen de coureurs in de speciale kleuren te zien zijn, zo krijgen ook haar duizenden fans de kans om merchandise in deze kleuren te kunnen kopen.

Ook de SF23-bolide van coureurs Charles Leclerc en Carlos Sainz krijgt aankomend weekend een kleine visuele aanpassing. Het Ferrari-logo zal zoals gewoonlijk op de achtervleugel van de scharlakenrode openwielbolide pronken, al zullen er ditmaal zwarte letters gebruikt worden, dat op een gele achtergrond gedrukt staat. Ook hiermee doet de Scuderia een gebaar naar de succesvolle Hypercar uit Maranello, dat eerder dit seizoen de legendarische 24 uursrace van Le Mans won.

  Precies mijn gedachte... leuk als je auto 30kph harder gaat op t rechte stuk en dit een overwinning kan worden... maar het podium is al een hele uitdaging dit jaar

  Inderdaad loei lelijk. Gelukkig zijn de overalls in de auto bijna onzichtbaar en zal de Le Mans-livery op de auto veel kleiner zijn...

Tja, als je het nu echt over een gekochte overwinning hebt... Een enorm budget erin pompen en de halve F1 afdeling erbij betrekken. Onbeperkte aero tijd, test tijd enz.

Je moet ergens je successen vieren. Mee eens. Maar of de F1 daarvoor het juiste podium is om de LeMans te vieren?

  Ik denk dat dit de meest verdiende overwinning sinds tijden was. Toyota mocht toch ook gewoon al het personeel dat ze hadden gebruiken? Of Peugeot... of Caddi... etc.

De Monza livery van vorig jaar vond ik persoonlijk één van de mooiste liveries. Vooral de gele letters op de achtervleugel waren onwijs mooi.

Ik ben bang dat deze livery niet zo mooi gaat worden.

Ferrari moet iets doen om het gekreukte imago op te poetsen. Organisatorisch blijft er nog steeds van alles mis gaan wat niet zou mogen gebeuren bij een topteam en beide coureurs doen hun best, maar het blijkt niet genoeg om Aston Martin en Mercedes bij te halen. Een topper als LeClerc zit daar te verpieteren, maar blijft zijn vertrouwen uitspreken in het team. Het wordt geen Ferrari feestje in Monza
